What is Hypno-Reiki?

Hypno-Reiki is a gentle yet highly effective therapeutic method that combines two well-researched modalities: hypnosis and Reiki energy therapy. This integrated approach is designed to promote deep relaxation, reduce stress, and support emotional and physiological well-being by working with both the mind and the body’s natural energy systems.

While each technique is powerful on its own, the combination enhances the effectiveness of both. Hypno-Reiki creates a deeply relaxed state where the body can shift out of “fight-or-flight” mode and into “rest-and-repair,” supporting both mental and physical healing processes.

What to Expect in Session

A Hypno-Reiki session typically lasts 60–75 minutes and includes the following:


Set Goal/Intention:
You’ll begin by discussing your goals, symptoms, or concerns with the practitioner. This helps tailor the session to your specific needs. During this time we may do some breathwork or EFT to prepare for the session, and to equip you with tools to use at home.


Guided Relaxation (Hypnotic Induction):
The practitioner will guide you through calming breathing and visualization techniques to help your mind and body enter a relaxed, focused state.


Reiki Energy Balancing:
While you remain in this relaxed state, the practitioner will run Reiki using gentle hand placements to help calm the nervous system and support your body’s healing mechanisms.


Hypnotic Techniques/Suggestions:
While Reiki is being administered, positive, personalized techniques and suggestions may be introduced to help:
 

  • Release emotional stress or tension
  • Shift unhelpful thought patterns
  • Support new habits or mindsets
  • Enhance inner calm, confidence, and clarity


Return and Integration:
You’ll be gradually guided out of hypnosis, often with a sense of clarity, calm, and renewed energy.


Debrief and Rest:
You’re welcome to discuss the session or ask questions afterward, though silence and rest are equally encouraged.

Who Can Benefit?

Hypno-Reiki is suitable for people of all backgrounds and belief systems. You don’t need prior experience with meditation, hypnosis, or energy work. If you’re feeling stressed, emotionally overwhelmed, stuck in old patterns, or simply looking for a new approach to mental and emotional well-being, Hypno-Reiki is a safe, supportive method to explore.


While individual results vary, many clients report feeling lighter, clearer, and more centered after just one session.
